Prince Ephraim Echtarch has had an eventful few days. First, he was enchanted by an enigmatic, beautiful elf at a ball who has disappeared into thin air. Second, the current pressing matter, he’s been kidnapped by some thug from the Trunk. Under normal circumstances he would be quite cross, but his kidnapper is trying to be helpful, saved his life a few times, and won’t stop flirting with him.

For Tomlyn Baker, it was supposed to be a simple knock-over job to buy himself a little breathing room from Benny. Now it’s an accidental, definitely with the best intentions, kidnapping of a nobleman. Worse, Tomlyn is stuck in the bug-infested woods, completely lost, with the most beautiful man he’s ever seen. In short: he’s screwed.

But it’s not so simple as escorting Ephraim home–Benny’s Boys took his mother’s magical heirloom and Ephraim intends to get it back, even if it means facing members of Benny’s Dozen. Fortunately, Sylf Dawnwood’s timely arrival to save Tomlyn gives them the leg up they need, but now she’s face to face with the prince she infuriatingly can’t get out of her head.

As the trio try to outrun Benny’s Dozen, they find themselves more intertwined than ever imagined. Soon, Ephraim is torn between his life as a prince and the alluring criminal duo of Tomlyn and Sylf. Will Ephraim make it out of the woods alive, and, more importantly, with his heart intact?
